Part of the ‘Chaos and Control in Nature’ series: This creation is the product of a study on Coral. I discovered the coral (dead) on a beach on Thailand and from meditating on its life, I marvelled at its geometry and structure whilst lamenting its once free, dancing colourful nature – being both colourful and mathematical is a concept I can certainly relate to! There is also an added layer that as painting it, I was listening to the beautiful music of Bella McKendree, which inspired the majestic and ethereal colours.
